Food was excellent the room was adequate with a large comfy bed although the bed frame was loose and squeaky slept well except for noise from staff preparing for breakfast at 6.00am Lovely cosy bar with open fire . Checkout was too early at 10.00pm in my mind as well as breakfast only on till 9 but generally all was good .
Warm friendly welcome. Excellent service throughout our stay. Spacious bedroom with exceptionally large comfortable bed. Both our evening meal and breakfast were delicious and beautifully presented. Perfect location for visiting Winchcombe, a very attractive Cotswold town, and the surrounding area .
A nice old atmospheric inn. My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay. The room was comfortable and warm. Allowances have to be made for a very old building - low beams, steep stairs etc, but for us this all adds up to the character! Very good service and food and drink. Situation is perfect for exploring this beautiful part of the Cotswolds using the many walks that lead to and from Winchcombe.
Stayed for one night, 2/11/25, and can’t recommend this place highly enough. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our room was large and very clean with a comfy bed too.. The atmosphere in the bar/eating areas was warm and friendly, all helped along by the open fires! We had dinner and breakfast, both menus were varied and the food delicious. The locality is great, centrally located with nice pubs and shops all within easy walking distance.
Brilliant one night stay and breakfast! We were staying over for an event in Cheltenham and this was a perfect place to stay. Friendly staff, comfy quirky room and a great breakfast in the morning. Would recommend
Very comfortable stay. Nice room albeit bed was more like a 3/4 double. Clean and tidy, lots of storage, nice shower toiletries provided. Tea/coffee and biscuit tray. Flat screen tv. Service in the bar/restaurant was very good. Everyone very friendly, even the dog was spoilt! Thoroughly recommend the belly pork. Breakfast was very tasty and well presented. Only downside...no parking. Car park up the road about 3 minute walk which was a bit of a pain carrying luggage and walking the dog! Would recommend and definitely stay again. Thanks to everyone.

Nice place to visit in the middle of Winchcombe, friendly and efficient staff, clean and comfortable rooms with all amenities, food menu to suit every need and a good range of ales, parking is nearby @ 1.30 for 24hrs, overall a very nice place to stay
We had a lovely time when we stayed at The White Hart. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A great breakfast! Winchcombe is very historic, well do the town trail next time. Thank you to everyone at The White Hart and the Museum.
Great place to stay! The room had great character being part of an old building but it was comfortable and quiet. The bar and restaurant was friendly; the beer and food were good. Winchcombe is a lovely little town.
